And they were recognisable by their brown locks , sunkissed bodies and smiling faces as the whole group got together to say their goodbyes and get on the train , everyone loved the Wedgwoods.
HISTORY
What once was a pureblood family , has been mixed with muggle blood for centuries. Ever since record can tell , the large family mainly existed of Gryffindors , only the last few generations making a difference to this ongoing pattern.Coming from Appelby , the Wedgwoods have always been huge supporters of the Appelby Arrows , every family member growing up with a big love for quidditch , whether they enjoy the sport or not.Once a year , the whole family gets together for a yearly family reunion with everyone — one which always ends up in one big chaos.The old family house has been passed on for generations , from oldest to oldest to oldest etc. and has been passed down to William Wedgwood's son , Oliver Wedgwood and his family , where his two siblings and their families spend every summer and christmas.It's not often that people meet families which are fond of each other, but the Wedgwoods were something else. Even though they had some fights between themselves , they have always been a very family centered family , always caring about each other.During the first wizarding war , a lot of family members fought against the Dark Lord and his deatheaters. Luckily not many loved ones were lost during this battle — the family only suffering little. ( Only two of them died. )Records show a lot of information of the family of the oldest Wedgwood , which had been William Wedgwood until his fairly recent passing , fifteen years ago.William Wedgwood , a Gryffindor alum arithmancer , was 24 when he met Juliana York , a 22 year old muggle kindergarten teacher. The two soon became inseparable , marrying a short year after meeting. Only ten months after that , they welcomed their first child , Oliver. Not even a year after Oliver was born , Juliana gave birth to their second son , Nathaniel and one and a half year after that , to their first daughter, Winona. Both Oliver and Winona sorted into Gryffindor , whereas Nathaniel became a proud Ravenclaw.Winona had gotten married to a Slytherin alum named Benjamin Carlisle right after graduation , but five years after having their twins, Jude, the Slytherin boy, and Vivian, the Gryffindor girl, the two couldn't work things out and got divorced. Nathaniel married Ambrosia , a Hufflepuff witch he had also gone to school with. The two had their two daughters, Chelsea and Nadine, both of the blonde girls sorted into Hufflepuff by the time they turned eleven.Oliver, the oldest of the bunch, met a Ravenclaw named Ramona Okada, whom he married and had three children with. Their oldest daughter and the next one in line to inherit the house, Kyra. In her first year of Hogwarts, much to her surprise, the brunette was sorted into Slytherin; Their second child, River, followed in his father's footsteps and ended up being one of the many Wedgwoods to be a Gryffindor; And so did their youngest, Liam.
